Glutathione

Glutathione (γ-L-Glutamyl-L-cysteinylglycine) is the principal endogenous low-molecular-weight thiol. Research focuses on its roles in reactive oxygen species neutralization, glutaredoxin/thioredoxin redox cycling, Phase II detoxification enzyme activation, and GSSG/GSH ratio as an oxidative stress biomarker.
