MGF

MGF (Mechano Growth Factor) is an IGF-1 splice variant encoded by the Ec exon, expressed in response to mechanical loading or tissue damage signals. Research demonstrates satellite cell activation and localized paracrine signaling at sites of mechanical strain. Distinguished from systemic IGF-1 isoforms by its localized expression pattern.
